Neoilluminist Art Villa in France
Villa D’Azur
Neoilluminist Art Villa
of the
Architect and Artist
Walter Noetico
Villa d'Azur is a villa conceived as a work of art, the Neoilluminist Artwork inspired by the music of Claude Debussy "Images". The entire outer surface of the Villa, the swimming pool and its surrounding terraces and floor area, are real works of art in a fine mosaic, for a total area of 500 square metres of artworks.
Also a number of doors and wall surfaces on the interior are true works of art by renowned artist and founder of the Neoilluminist Art.
Villa d'Azur
possesses an extremely privileged habitat, because it enjoys a Mediterranean
micro-climate, peace and tranquillity in a dominant idyllic position, an enviable
panoramic view, from which there is not a house to be seen, away from the
residential centre and at the same time with the convenience of main road and nearby services at just five minutes away. The Villa – (as is with all the
private residences which have a merit) - cannot be seen from the nearby road,
and lies within its own delightful formal gardens and parkland grounds, which
guarantees the high degree of tranquillity and privacy.
From the private gate, the property is being approached via a long private
150m paved driveway, completely lined with a wide variety of mature trees, leading to
the illuminated extensive parking and the Villa itself. All of the property is
completely fenced around.
Constructed in 1972, the Villa is unique of a kind in the entire France, having been designed at the time for a friend by the Architect Pecaud of Limoges.
Arranged over three levels, the
contemporary Villa provides well-proportioned character accommodation and is
equipped with every comfort, with equipment from the best brands, including a
powerful Viessmann oil-fired Boiler. In
addition, the water which comes from the taps is pure spring water, free of
chlorine and limescale, and is provided by the neighbouring municipality.
The total area of the Villa is approx. 450 square metres (a total of 1,155 cubic metres), and is surrounded by circa 10,000 sq metres of the mature botanical garden and park, and there were counted 310 mature trees, many of which are located at the border to form a natural fencing area of extreme privacy, and up to 6 metres high. On the southern side of the Villa there is a 14m long mosaic veranda which then opens up to a very private and dominant heated swimming pool and its surrounding area of 150 square metres surrounded by lighting, sculptures, flowers and various flowering bushes and trees, which blossom in various times of the year, thus offering the beauty throughout.
Villa d'Azur is
situated in France, less than an hour from the historic town of Limoges (famous
for its porcelain dating back to the 18th Century), in the
department of Correze (the Limousin Region of France), which is the land
preferred and chosen by the Presidents of the French Republic, designated for
its outstanding natural beauty and historic heritage, together with the
environmental and social safety. The Villa itself lies within the
scenic countryside of the National Regional Park of Limousin, in the heart of "Plateau du Millevaches", in the antic French means "The Plain of the Thousand Springs". In the
area, there are often seen hawks/falcons, deer, fox, mink and other wild animals and birds. The roadways are all in a perfect condition, same as in a city,
and this is something very distinctive to France.
The
nearby village of Bugeat offers easy access into the nearby historic town of
Limoges (which can be reached by a local and fast train service, as well as by
car from the same main road). The
village of Bugeat offers an excellent range of amenities, including two
medium-sized Supermarkets, Pharmacy, 3 Doctor’s Surgeries, a Dentist, Sports
Leisure Centre, Hairdressers, Bank, and independent shops which include a
Baker, Butcher, Wine Specialist, Artist’s Shops, and markets held three times a
week, charming cafés and restaurants.
There is also a Medieval Church of Saint-Pardoux dating back to 14th
and 15th Centuries, as well as two lakes in the vicinity: 2km from
Bugeat there is the Lake of Viam, and the Lake of Treignac 20km away, with
sandy beaches and yachting activity in the summer months up to October. For international travelling, Limoges
Airport (80km) then connection to Paris by plane (1hr 10mins), or by train
Limoges (Benedictins) - Paris (Austerlitz) – 3hrs away, hourly service.
